Our Mission Statement:

The UV Theater Project is a non-profit theater company that seeks to provide meaningful and vital theatrical experiences by presenting canonical works in a new and intimate light.

 We seek to challenge the conventional audience experience by staging these works as site-specific events. In this sense, we seek to create a bridge between old and new forms.

 We also endeavor to nurture a new generation of promising theater artists by producing work that couples emerging artists about to finish or having just finished their training with accomplished veteran Chicago actors.  This is another bridge we aim to build — a bridge between generations of artists in an effort to bring the best, young talent into the Chicago theater market.
